Teen correspondents wanted

The North Dakota Living magazine is seeking teen correspondents to write for its Teen-2-Teen column in 2017. The column features articles written by students, ages 13 to 19, who address subjects of importance to teens. Correspondents will receive $50 for each article published:

To become a North Dakota Living teen correspondent, students need to submit:

  • An essay detailing why they would make a good contributor;
  • A teacher recommendation; and
  • At least two topics of interest for potential columns.

In addition, teens must submit their name, the names of their parents, and their complete mailing address, telephone number and email address. Teens should also indicate if their family is served by an electric and/or telephone cooperative. Submissions should be received by Friday, Dec. 30.

North Dakota Living staff will review every submitted entry and select eager applicants to serve as 2017 correspondents. All submitters will receive notification by Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017.
